NOURISHMENT FOR NOW: Soul Food For Summer


It’s been just about one year of knowing Freya. It happened over the wild world of the internet, as I was looking for a yoga teacher to create things together, and here we are just about one year later after 2 in presence events, with lots of upcoming projects and on our second online bundle.

Working with Freya always feels easy – not because what we are creating is simple itself – but because the process feels right and exciting enough that the whole thing seems to come together in the snap of a finger… even after hours of laptop work, planning, recording, and recipe testing.

This is another one of those projects that came from our hearts. It didn’t need many words to come to life, just our passion for what we do. It is one of those projects that makes us feel so excited to have one another and to be able to learn, create, and be who we are in our work. 

When we create this kind of things, we always end up chatting about our future – of how lovely it would be to have a space together. We talk about the meals we will be able to share, the time spent walking in nature, making art with paint brushes, and our bodies. We chat about the future in the present because we like to believe that we can feel it happening now. 

NOURISHMENT FOR NOW: SOUL FOOD FOR SUMMER , feels like that. A little snippet of our future in the presence of now. An exciting little bit of what we are able to create together – for us and for the world around us. 

What does it contain?

  • 4 recipes created by Esme to quench your thirst, nourish
    your cells and show you how to make the most of the gifts of
    nature in summer. Think, watermelon, raspberries, and
    nasturtium salad, peaches and heritage tomatoes (many
    ways), fig leaf baked peaches with cardamom, coriander and
    lemon + vanilla ice cream, and a recipe for cold herbal tea to
    sip on directly from your fridge.
  • 2 moving meditation practices guided by me (Freya) to
    help you let off some steam, ground down and chill out. These
    practices are full of helpful tips to regulate your nervous
    system when it’s hot outside, but also when your internal
    environment is feeling a little overstimulated.
  • We also creatd a little e-book to go with our bundle to
    share some of the stories behind these practices. Made by
    friends, out of love, and wrapped as beautifully as possible, for
    you.

It holds our beliefs; it holds our life values; it holds our growing and evolving humanity. 

With this said, we hope you’ll join us on this wild ride of bright hot days, sweaty bodies, and warm nights cooled down by fruit salads and slow moving meditations.
