my story

I have memories of my mom asking me with a concern look if I thought it was her “fault” I grew to have such a passion for food. She used to put me and my sister up on a chair beside her while she was frying apple fritters or panfrying zucchini from the garden since we were 2-3 years old. My curiosity for food and human health started to properly come together during my last years of high school with a school project on which argument I choose to be Bach Flowers and their properties. It then started rolling into macrobiotic, vegetarian, vegan food, ayurveda, natural nutrition and so on.

I studied Art, then attended one year of a professional vegan chef school in Italy and then moved to, to London to start university.  Things went so that I didn’t go to Uni, but ended up in Wild Food Cafe which was another big beginning.

where food and art come together

Art has always been a big part of who I am. Klee, Kandinsky, Rothko and expressionism is where I get inspired the most. Food can be seen as art it self, from the shape and colours of the bare ingredients, to how they are cooked and  positioned on a plate.
